The Consortium of National Law Universities has issued a notification to the effect that the CLAT-2022 application window will begin from the 1st of January 2022.   The applications will be accepted until 31st March 2022.

Earlier in November, the CLAT Consortium had announced that the CLAT-2022 shall be held on 8th May 2022 (Sunday). 

CLAT is used for admissions to 5 Year B.A./B.B.A./B.Sc. LL.B programs are offered at 22 National Law Universities and over 52 Private Universities across the country.

The test shall be conducted across multiple cities in India.  CLAT is a 2-hour test, with 150 multiple-choice questions carrying 1 mark each. There shall be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. These questions would be divided across the following 5 subjects:

> English Language
> Current Affairs, including General Knowledge
> Legal Reasoning
> Logical Reasoning
> Quantitative Techniques
